Catch four premieres during theater’s 10th anniversary season

Now is the perfect time to become a subscriber at Towle Theater. Next season marks the 10th anniversary for the Towle and you won’t want to miss a single show. Right now you can purchase four flex admissions for 2013 for only $45; which works out to $11.25 per ticket a savings of $5.75 per show and $23 for the season.

Next season the Towle boasts four premieres; the opening show is the U.S. non-professional premiere of the warm and funny chamber musical “Tomorrow Morning.” The second show is the Northwest Indiana premiere of “Jewtopia,” which can be described as the Jewish non-musical counterpart of Book of Mormon. A laugh-out-loud comedy, that’s not for everyone!

A Midwest premiere – our summer show “Brooklyn, the Musical” is a fairytale told by street performers. The soulful music and honest story are sure to touch your heart. And we close our 10th anniversary season with the dark comedy “Pursued by Happiness,” which follows two people as they come to terms with getting to know each other, meeting each other’s parents and getting past the past to build a future.
Managing Director Jeff Casey will direct both musicals “Tomorrow Morning” and “Brooklyn, the Musical.” The Towle is thrilled to welcome two new guest directors as well; Marty Grubbs of Chicago will create the world of “Jewtopia,” while Sherry Verwey-Sweeney of Hobart will navigate the awkward waters of “Pursued by Happiness.”
