There is always something to do in downtown Valparaiso.
On more than 90 days each year, Valparaiso Community Festivals & Events hosts a variety of events in downtown Valparaiso. From live music to outdoor movies to craft beer festivals, the entertainment comes in all shapes and sizes. The lively downtown is also is home to unique shops and a variety of the area’s finest restaurants.

Celebrate the beginning of the holiday season in downtown Valparaiso!
Central Park Plaza comes alive with holiday musical performances on the Porter Health Amphitheater Stage. Michiana Ice Carvers prepare a Giant Ice Sculpture. The Holiday Village Market features special holiday vendors. Free rides on the holiday train take guests on the streets around Central Park Plaza. Visit the Live Nativity that will host live animals too! Listen to the sidewalk carolers and stroll through downtown to the stores and restaurants for treats and specials.
