Drummer and Naperville resident Chris Pappas, 54, chose the downtown venue as an opportunity to propose to girlfriend Janet Barta of Woodstock. “I have had this in the works for a few months now,” said Pappas. “Luckily for me, all the stars were in line for everyone to be able to attend, and a great performance by our new band was icing on the cake.”
