Pulse: Drummer proposes to girlfriend at Quigley’s
Apparently love was in the air last Saturday when local band GMRC took the stage at Quigley’s Irish Pub. Drummer and Naperville resident Chris Pappas, 54, chose the downtown venue as an opportunity to propose to girlfriend Janet Barta of Woodstock. “I have had this in the works for a few months now,” said Pappas. “Luckily for me, all the stars were in line for everyone to be able to attend, and a great performance by our new band was icing on the cake.”
