Seeking a permanent after school nanny on Mon - Thurs inclusive for 2 active boys, aged 5 and 8. We have had the same day time nanny for nearly 4 years, and as our younger son will be starting school, our needs have changed to after school care 4 days per week. Duties include school pick up, transport to/from sports practice, supervising homework, preparing evening meal and washing up, washing clothes, playing, and providing fun and TLC.

Other Skills: Must have a genuine interest in children, own car, and flexibility to do what is needed to care for the boys - e.g. take to doctor, haircuts, help with school assignments, etc.

Live In Nanny ~ Camberwell

Hi,
We are a happy but busy family of 5 in total (with 3 kids ages; 5, 11, 13) and two small dogs.

We live in Camberwell, and the kids go to full time kinder and school locally in Hawthorn.

We require 'live-in help'. This involves;
- early morning; a few hours to get kids ready for school, preparing lunches,
- food preparation/cooking in the mid afternoon
- help with feeding kids and getting them to bed - cleaning up after dinner.

- Babysitting also involved some evenings.
- Except holidays, there is no daytime nannying involved, so you are free during the main part of the day

BUT

- Housekeeping jobs around the house are an essential part of the duties;

-> Food shopping
-> Ironing,
-> general tidying,
-> keeping bathrooms and kitchen clean daily after use
-> Washing and putting away laundry,
-> Some light cleaning duties (cleaner comes weekly).
-> Keeping robes organised and tidy

Picking up kids from school may be required.

No costs associated with living-in or meals/food involved for you.

An 'au pair' type rate per week will be paid.

I suppose this is not strictly just a nanny role but small amount of Nanny and a fair amount of house keeping. You get freedom during the day.

Part-time Afterschool Care ~ Camberwell

I am looking for a nanny to collect my three children from kinder/school at 3:30 in Hawthorn, bring them home (Camberwell - short drive)and care for them until approx 7:30pm. You would be required to play, assist with home work (prep and Grade 2 - mainly reading), give them dinner, attend to bath time and (sometimes) put them to bed (my husband often arrives home in time to assist with this). The children (who are 8, 5 and 4) are used to this arrangement with our current nanny.

Other Skills: Hours may vary over the Christmas/New Year period, subject to negotiation. I often have more work available other than the hours stated. Our current Nanny is going overseas and I am looking for someone from the end of November.

Part-time Afterschool Care ~ Camberwell

We are seeking a part-time nanny/babysitter to assist with looking after and entertaining our two children : Elizabeth is a bright, fun-loving 4 year old and her younger brother, William, is 2 years old. He is an active boy and loves to play. Light household duties (eg. tidying, sorting laundry, meal prep) would also be required.

You are an experienced, fun, friendly and energetic person who loves children. You have a first aid certificate. You have experience working with other families and are a non-smoker.

We are looking for some assistance initially from Mid December through to the end of January (with potential to extend) to pick the children up from Day Care in the late afternoon and bring them home, give them dinner and a bath etc before I return home from work at around 6.30/7pm. Initially 3 days per week (Mon-Wed. We would also like you to be able to do occassional evening/weekend babysitting.

We live within walking distance to the childcare centre so you would not be required to drive the children.

(Please note we would not need you to do the afternoon pick up over the Christmas period (ie. Dec 24 - Jan4)
