"Plumage," the breaking single off Portland duo Menomena’s recent release Moms has received the silver screen treatment with a music video directed by Trevor McMahan. McMahan aimed to illustrate the “aural struggle between instruments and ideas that is complex, satisfying, and always unmistakably Menomena.” The video wittily wobbles between the satirical and the campy, with its bare desert background and countless costume changes by band members Justin Harris and Danny Seim. On November 13, Stevens will release a 58-song holiday collection, which is slated for production in a number of formats, from digital to vinyl.

And what better way to celebrate the prolific midwesterner's behemoth album than by seeing him perform live? On December 15 Sufjan Stevens will be performing "The Surfjohn Stevens Christmas Sing-a-long Seasonal Affective Disorder Yuletide Disaster Pageant On Ice” at Metro as one of 93XRT's Holiday Concerts for The Kids. Caspa, dubstep’s leading man, has freed his remix “Check Your Self,” a downbeat dubstep jam brimming with tension, from the vault. The British club royal’s four-minute track was originally released for free last year during Caspa’s Fulham 2 Waterloo EP and was also featured in an Adidas ad campaign.
