2 Request to admin a school

3 Scheduling a new event

Please review the following and acknowledge that you understand the add event process.

Once you're a school admin and want to add an event you'll click on your user menu in the top right and select "Add New Event" from the menu.

After you preview how to add an event and finished scheduling it you'll receive a confirmation which includes your Streaming Destination URL (example: rtmp://stream.hsc.com/live) and your 6 digit Event Code (example: kh7fus) which lets us know what event you are streaming.

4 Select HSC Broadcast Equipment

To broadcast you will need a camera, an audio device and either a computer with encoder software or a professional system like Tricaster to send your stream to High School Cube. The type of equipment depends if you want to do a simple single camera set-up, a more advanced multi-camera set-up or a professional TV quality broadcast.

5 Broadcast your first event

A Set-up Single Camera Multiple Camera Video Equipment

Place your camera on your tripod and connect it to either your computer or professional gear like Tricaster. your computer with Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder installed. your computer with Wirecast installed. the Tricaster system. your own equipment.

B Set-up Audio Equipment

Plug your microphones into your sound board and connect it to either your computer or professional gear like Tricaster. your computer with Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder installed. your computer with Wirecast installed. the Tricaster system. your own equipment.

C Hook Up Your Freshman Broadcast Junior Varsity Broadcast Varsity Broadcast Own Broadcast Gear

If you're using a laptop & software turn on your computer and open your desktop encoder software like Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder or Wirecast.

OR if you're using professional gear turn on your Tricaster box and select video & audio devices.

Turn on your computer and open your Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder software.

Turn on your computer and open your Wirecast desktop encoder software.

Turn on your Tricaster and select your video & audio devices.

Turn on your own equipment setup and select your Audio and Video device.

D Stream Your Video and Audio to the Web

Enter the "Streaming destination" and "Event code" you received when you scheduled your event. For more detailed instructions please select a broadcast option from Step 4 above.

In Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder enter the "Streaming destination" and "Event code" you received when you scheduled your event in Step 3 and press connect and start. You are now streaming Live.

Use the following screenshot as a guide for how to configure your Adobe FML encoder software:

Using Wirecast select High School Cube as your streaming destination, enter your high school cube username and password and select the event you want to broadcast. Click broadcast to start streaming Live.

Using any Tricaster unit select your streaming settings (most likely ???) and enter the "Streaming destination" and "Event code" you received when you scheduled your event in Step 3 above and press connect, then start. You are now streaming Live.

Using your own equipment, enter the "Streaming destination" and "Event code" you received from Step 3 when you scheduled your event press connect and start. You are now streaming Live.

E Produce your Broadcast in the High School Cube Web-Based Studio

Visit highschoolcube.com/studio and enter your 6 digit Event Code. Then click on the Produce Broadcast tab to monitor your event, keep score, tag players, add running comments and more.
