How many models does it take to tell a decent joke? Find out in this Rodarte casting call video

Besides maybe Tyra Banks, models aren’t exactly known for their senses of humor — and while Tyra makes us laugh, she’s not always doing it intentionally. (“Women at work! Girls in school!“)

But a rainbow coalition of models reading a series of cheesy, Popsicle stick-style jokes, sporting a bevy of accents and varying degrees of understanding what, precisely, they’re saying? Now that‘s funny. See for yourself by watching the following video, which was assembled from footage shot at Rodarte’s spring/summer 2013 Fashion Week casting call:

'Face Off' winner Q&A;: 'I'm definitely not done. There's a lot more in store for me.'

Last night, in Face Off‘s live finale (read our on-the-scene report here), Nicole Chilelli took home the top prize for the Syfy show’s third season. She’s the show’s first female winner and the show’s first “comeback girl” – she worked her way up to being crowned winner (as voted by the fans) after having been eliminated then being given the chance to earn her way back into competition earlier in the season.

The win certainly looked like an emotional whirlwind for Chilelli, who shed some tears upon the announcement of her name. When she began talking with EW just minutes after host McKenzie Westmore had announced her name, she said, “What is happening right now? This is not even real!” Since then, though, she’s probably had some time to let it all sink in, and right now she very well may be on a Los Angeles shopping spree. “Tomorrow I’m going to every makeup store in L.A., and I’m just buying everything!” she said. In the midst of the celebration right after the finale, Chilelli talked to EW about the twist of bringing her back into competition, which of her prizes she’s most excited about and what she plans to do next.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Tell me what the past 24 hours have been like. Did you get any sleep last night?
NICOLE CHILELLI: I really couldn’t sleep last night. I was so nervous. Just going over everything in my head. Once I sat down and saw my family, all that kind of went away, and it was just about me excited and just the excitement, and the nerves subsided. I am just so thankful, and oh my God, this is amazing. It’s just gonna make my career go so much further. I really wanna go back to school ’cause I’m self-taught. So I would love to actually go to a special effects makeup school and learn, and this is my opportunity now, and I can take care of my mom [who, like Chilelli, has Fibromyalgia], and she’s gone through so many things, and this is gonna help her so much. I can’t even believe this now. I’m so shocked. READ FULL STORY »

Amber Tamblyn, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Biel might be making colored wedding gowns the trend du jour, but when it came time for Evan Rachel Wood to pick a gown to wed Billy Elliot star Jamie Bell, she followed Bella Swan’s lead.

Wood swept down the aisle in a quiet California wedding, Ocober 30, wearing a custom creation by Carolina Herrera, the designer who famously created the gown for Twilight’s Breaking Dawn–Part 1 nuptials.  While no pictures have been released of the gown, reps say it was a chantilly lace mermaid design with cap sleeves and striped ribbon waist detail.

The pair met in 2005 as costars in Green Day’s “Wake Me Up When September Ends” music video and reconnected after Woods called off plans to wed singer Marilyn Manson in 2010.

“Words cannot describe the happiness I am feeling,” the actress tweeted on the Big Day.

face-off-finale.jpg

Syfy’s Face Off wrapped up its third season last night, crowning another Face Off king – well, it’s actually a queen since a woman won for the first time. In another Face Off first, the judges didn’t have a say in who took home top prize. Earning the most fan votes was Sacremento-based makeup artist Nicole Chilelli.

EW was in the small audience of the intimate live show, so we have the report about what was happening last night at a studio north of Los Angeles, on the same stage where Face Off shoots the makeup reveal and elimination segments. Here are six things from the finale that you didn’t see on TV: READ FULL STORY »

Nicole Kidman has stepped into the shoes of writers Martha Gellhorn (Hemingway & Gellhorn), Virginia Woolf (The Hours) and photographer Diane Arbus (Fur) for previous roles, but if the latest pictures from the set of the upcoming biopic Grace of Monaco are any indication, her role as actress-turned-princess Grace Kelly might be her best historical figure transformation yet.

'Face Off': Host McKenzie Westmore on this season's most memorable looks, her advice to fans voting for the winner -- PHOTOS

And then there were three. But after tonight, there can only be one. Syfy’s Face Off is just hours away from announcing the winning makeup artist of its third season, and this time, in a Face Off first, the fans – not the judges – get to decide who will be crowned the winner.

Last night’s episode, “Immortal Enemies,” functioned as part one of a two-episode finale and featured Nicole Chilelli, Derek Garcia and Laura Tyler’s last designs on the show. With the help of two eliminated contestants each, the finalists created two makeups, a demon and the good witch who hunts him down. The good witches had to represent one of the four classical elements; Tyler chose Earth, Chilelli picked Water and Garcia went with Fire. READ FULL STORY »

It’s Halloween and if you’re celebrating, you’ve probably already plotted your costume down to the last ghoulish detail. But if your look for tonight got caught up in the zombie apocalypse, don’t leave the house until you’ve set off your costume with a trick that The Walking Dead’s special effects makeup artist Greg Nicotero uses to help create decaying ‘Walker’ skin. “I love is this time of year,” Nicetoro told EW.com. “In the last six or seven years it’s become an obsession with makeup and haunted houses. People do costume contests and I love that.” Ready to beat out the Honey Boo Boos and questionable ‘sexy’ costumes that’ll inevitably be out in full force? Let’s get started.

Hurricane Sandy wreaked havoc on New Jersey’s Seaside Heights, the second home of MTV’s Jersey Shore cast. But while Snooki Tweeted “our boardwalk and favorite spots were ruined,” the gang’s old house is still standing. [E! Online]

Red is definitely Taylor Swift’s color. The singer’s fourth studio album amassed the largest first-week sales since 2002, with 1.21 million albums sold, thanks in part to clever promotions that used red Keds sneakers and Papa John’s pizza to sweeten the deal. [LA Times]

How Beyonce sparked an Obama jewelry craze... even in the swing states!

Beyonce.jpg

With just a few more days until the presidential election, Beyonce has made another show of support for President Barack Obama… and sparked a new political jewelry trend.

After helping to raise approximately $4 million for the president’s re-election — by co-hosting a fundraiser with husband Jay-Z – and doing her part to get the next generation on board by designing an election onesie, the singer recently got her political message out thanks to a pair of door knocker “Obama” earrings.

Now the Erika Peña-designed danglers are flying off the shelves, and the designer says she has Beyonce to thank for the stimulus effect.

“I had only sold 5 pairs, then Beyonce wore them and sales [spiked] overnight,” says Peña, who has sold 1,300 pairs since the star was spotted wearing hers on Oct. 21. “We’re almost sold out!”

How did Beyonce get her hands on the ‘Obama’ bling? READ FULL STORY »
