Tom Robinson is a columnist and NFL writer for The Virginian-Pilot.
Tom has been a Pilot sports reporter since 1983 and a columnist since 1995. He has covered high schools, Old Dominion basketball and the Norfolk Tides, as well as the World Series, U.S. Open golf, NFL playoffs and the Summer Olympics.
Tom attended high school and college in the Philadelphia area. Before arriving at The Pilot, Tom played professional baseball in the Los Angeles Dodgers' minor league system.
