In case you didn’t hear the deafening roar coming from Comerica Park, this is a reminder that the Detroit TechCrunch Meetup is tonight.

The event is taking place at HockeyTown Cafe, right next to the ball field, and it’s entirely sold out. So if you have one of the 1,200 ticket reservations, this is your one and only reminder to show up, drink some beer, and talk tech.

John Biggs, Matt Burns, Darrell Etherington, Romain Dillet, Elin Blesener, Colleen Taylor and myself will all be in attendance, talking to investors, fielding pitches, and shooting video.

Which reminds me, if you have some cool app, gadget, or anything else especially visually stimulating, be sure to bring it along so we can check it out ourselves. Your checklist of things to bring should also include business cards and a smile. There are no presentations – just networking – so hunt us down and be ready to pitch.

Do not bring a slideshow or deck of any kind, and try to keep the paper passing to a minimum. We want this to be as fun as possible, which means that there won’t be any presentations of any kind.

We’re looking forward to seeing all of your faces in just a few hours. In the meantime, get the hype going by joining the Twitter conversation with the hashtag #TCDetroit.
