SOUTHWEST CHICAGO – Urban Prep Academies will host a series of open houses for interested parties to attend.
Urban Prep is Chicago’s first and only all-boys charter public high schools. Founded in 2002, the schools aim to provided a comprehensive college preparatory education to young men. The first campus opened in Englewood in 2006.
The open houses, part of the Seeing is Believing event, provide prospective students the chance to tour campuses and speak to campus leaders about the school.
Upcoming open houses include:
- Friday, Nov. 16 – Englewood Campus from 8 to 10 a.m.
- Friday, Dec. 7 – Bronzeville Campus from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.
The Englewood campus is located at 6201 Stewart Ave. The Bronzeville Campus is located at 2710 S. Dearborn. For more information, call the headquarters at 312-276-0259.
