The Express Post International service accommodates both letters and parcels. The service features differ depending on which of these items you are sending.
Express Post International Parcels offers priority handling, basic tracking where available, and a signature on delivery, for only $7 more than Air Mail.
It is available for items over 2kg. It offers reliable delivery within 3 to 7 business days between metropolitan areas of major cities.*

Prepaid satchels and boxes are available at Australia Post outlets.
Alternatively you can use your own envelopes and packaging, or use the Postpak range available from postal outlets. Our packaging guidelines will help ensure your article is accepted and will travel safely.
As articles sent internationally suffer climate extremes for extended periods, Australia Post may refuse to accept articles which are not adequately packaged.
Prepaid Express Post International articles have consignment notes attached, which address aviation security requirements. These must be completed and signed.
Non-prepaid articles must have an EPI consignment note completed and attached. These are available from retail outlets. The consignment notes are carbon copies, so cannot be provided for downland from the Internet.
Express Post Envelopes can be posted in Gold street posting boxes by 6:00pm (earlier in Perth suburbs and some provincial centres). Alternatively you can lodge these at an Australia Post counter.
Express Post International Letters is a convenient reliable and cost-effective priority air service for letters only, up to 500g.
Express Post International prepaid envelopes are available in two sizes, small (162 x 229mm) and large (353 x 250mm). They both carry documents up to 500 grams.
The declaration on the envelope must be signed. No further documentation is required.
Express Post Envelopes can be posted in Gold street posting boxes by 6:00pm (earlier in Perth suburbs and some provincial centres).
They can also be posted over the counter at a Postal Outlet within the Express Post network by the local Express Post closing time.
