A federal judge has set January 23, 2013 for attorneys representing the North Carolina pension fund, and other plaintiffs, to hold a pretrial conference in their lawsuit against Facebook Inc. North Carolina is the lead plaintiff in the the class action suit, in which plaintiffs allege that the social media company, and its IPO underwriters, withheld negative revenue projections that, once public, caused Facebook's IPO to tank. Last August, North Carolina pension officials put the state's potential Facebok IPO losses at about $4 million.
