Airbus Military has the capability to design, develop, produce and give assistance with training at different levels of complexity, from the Multimedia Interactive Training System (MITS®) or Flight Training Device (FTD) up to advanced Full Flight Simulators (FFS).

The Airbus Military Training Centre for pilots, maintenance technicians and military mission system operators has trained more than 2,500 aircrew and 7,300 maintenance technicians.

If required the Company offers the customer a turn-key training centre solution applying Airbus Military training standards and best practices.

Our solution is adapted to each customer training requirement providing a tailored, innovative and cost effective answer to specific needs and constraints.

An Operations Support service covers the provision of Operational Documentation, Seminars on operational matters, customer Concept of Operations support and Operational advice.
Training Centre
As an industry leader in military transport aircraft and mission systems, Airbus Military has amassed years of experience in technical and operational training. We are constantly developing new skills and knowledge to meet the most demanding training requirements of current complex aviation systems.

More than 10,000 trainees, Flight Crew, and Ground Crew have been trained by Airbus Military over the last 20 years. The Training Centre is located at Airbus Military’s state-of-the-art San Pablo Plant, Sector Sur, next to our Final Assembly Line and Seville International Airport.

Simulators
FFS (Full Flight Simulator)
Airbus Military, as the aircraft manufacturer, owns the “Data Package” necessary for the Full Flight Simulator (FFS) development and support. Together with world-leading simulator manufacturers, we have all the technical capabilities to produce additional units of existing devices or to develop new devices at the request of customers.

And we have the capability to design, develop, produce and give assistance at different levels of complexity: from the Multimedia Interactive Training System (MITS®), Flight Training Device (FTD) to the advanced Full Flight Simulators (FFS). Airbus Military has developed full flight simulators for its entire aircraft family.
FFS (Full Flight Simulator)
FFS (Full Flight Simulator)
At its own International Training Centre, Airbus Military has invested in, and installed, Full Flight Simulators for C295 and CN235 aircraft. The FFS accurately simulates the aircraft and the mission environment in which it will operate. The simulators recreate sounds, motion, visual scenes, instrument presentations and all other aircraft systems in order to create a realistic flight training environment.
The handling characteristics of the simulator represent actual aircraft characteristics based on available flight test data and inputs from experienced pilots. The simulators have been developed to comply with and exceed JAR FSTD A regulatory requirements (Level D for C295 FFS and Level C for CN235 FFS) thus providing true fidelity at the high end of a consistent training experience.
Mission Trainer
Airbus Military offers a complete family of surveillance and security aircraft, covering a wide variety of missions: maritime surveillance, search and rescue, exclusive economic zone control, marine pollution prevention and control, anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare.
Mission Trainer
Mission Trainer
The Mission Trainer / Tactical Aircrew Trainer (MT/TAT) is the simulator system that enables crews to operate the aircraft at peak efficiency. Airbus Military´s integrated surveillance solutions adapted to customer requirements are based on more than 25 years of experience in the development of maritime patrol aircraft and mission systems.

The operational efficiency of our aircraft is based on versatile and highly capable platforms, state-of-the-art surveillance sensors and modern communication systems. Our main objective is to ensure that our clients obtain the best operational performance and that they benefit from an integrated support service adapted to their needs, thus guaranteeing the success of their missions.
MCDU Trainer
MCDU Trainer
MCDU Trainer
The MCDU Trainer is the optimum device to efficiently train operators in the use of the Multifunction Control Display Unit in the C295 aircraft´s Topdeck avionics.

The MCDU Trainer is a “free play” training device that uses instructors’ previously defined exercises configured in the system. The trainee interacts with the MCDU Trainer applying the same logic as the aircraft system and receives a realistic response. The feedback is generated by the MCDU Trainer Flight Model and the simulated cockpit panels.
MITS
Airbus Military supplies an extensive range of computer-based training products designed and developed to provide ground training for pilots, mission operators and maintenance technicians. The Multimedia Interactive Training System (MITS) uses the most advanced multimedia technologies such as high resolution graphics, flash animations, audio and real video to maximise courseware efficiency and enable students to experience total immersion and interaction with the aircraft operation and systems.

All MITS contents are managed by a powerful Learning Content Management System (LCMS). The LCMS contains the software required to control system operation by the different users - including system administrators, instructors, and students.

CAPS
Airbus Military provides the customer with Computerised Aircraft Performance Software (CAPS) for the C212, CN235, and C295. CAPS enables the simple, quick and precise generation of all the required performance data for partial flight planning, including the take-off, en-route, airdrop and landing phases, or for planning a complete mission. The software performs the calculations by means of an aircraft database containing technical data for the different types of aircraft and configurations; an airfield database containing runway data of airfields in use; and finally, the appropriate mission flight profile.
