The Georgia Outdoor Recreation Program is conducting a clinic Feb. 26 from 4-6 p.m. in Room 226 of the Ramsey Student Center to teach the basics of keeping a bike in working order for commuting around campus or riding on the trail. Learn to fix a flat, adjust your bike’s gears and brakes, and more. Bring your bike to the clinic. Cost is $30, $25 for faculty and staff and $20 for UGA students.
Softball team to host invitational
The softball team opens its three-day Fifth Annual Bulldog Invitational March 1 at Jack Turner Stadium with a 3 p.m. game against North Dakota State and at 5:30 p.m. against Radford.
Atlanta Symphony Orchestra to perform in Hodgson Hall
The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will perform Feb. 24 at 3 p.m. in Hugh Hodgson Concert Hall at the Performing Arts Center. Music director Robert Spano will conduct the concert that features Ottorino Respighi's "Piano Concerto in A Minor" with Finnish pianist Olli Mustonen. The program also includes Verdi's "Overture to La Forza del Destino" and Johannes Brahms' "Symphony No. 2." Tickets are $20-$59.
