    Jere Morehead

    Jere Morehead was named senior vice president for academic affairs and provost in fall 2009, following a national search. He has served UGA in several leadership positions since joining the faculty in 1986, including vice president for instruction and vice provost for academic affairs. He has also won numerous teaching awards as a professor in the Terry College of Business.

    UGA Arts Council

    The UGA Arts Council was convened by Vice Provost Libby Morris and works to engage the university community, especially students, in the arts at UGA, and to instill a lifelong appreciation and enjoyment of the performing, visual and literary arts. In November 2012, the Arts Council sponsored the Spotlight on the Arts festival, which included more than 50 events across campus and was attended by nearly 15,000 people.
