You know what's gone regrettably out of fashion?  Action movies centered around a pair of mismatched, contentious heroes who simultaneously love and hate one another.

Luckily, 2 Guns looks determined to bring this kind of buddy-cop actioner back into style, with Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg handling this two-hander.  Universal Pictures has zigged rather than zagged, opting to drop an extended 2 Guns trailer, theatrical poster, and five official images all in one go.

With but a week until the Evil Dead remake hits theaters nationwide, a new extended TV spot and a not-safe-for-work clip from "the most terrifying film you will ever experience" have landed online.

Hey, ass-kickers, Universal Pictures is dropping yet more promotional nuggets for this summer's Kick-Ass sequel.

Today brings three new Kick-Ass 2 bits, from a red band international trailer to character posters for Hit-Girl and Motherfucker, played respectively by Chloe Grace Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse.

Listen, if massive, Godzilla-style lumbering beasts ascended from the Pacific Ocean to wreak havoc on humanity, the best way to fight them would be with equally huge robots.  It's just common sense.

It's also common sense that those mechs would be unspeakably cool, because why not?  The latest in a series of posters showing the robots of Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim show off two 'bots, called Jaegers, representing China and Australia.

Clark and Ellen Griswold will ride again!

That may be an overstatement; it looks unlikely that Clark or Ellen will do any riding in the reboot/sequel Vacation, but Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo are in talks to join the comedy, meaning that we'll once again see Clark bumbling and Ellen being way, way out of Clark's league.

Marc Webb is one of a very small group of directors entrusted with a massively expensive superhero franchise.  As he's been toiling away on The Amazing Spider-Man sequel set for May 2, 2014, he's also become one of an even smaller group of such director who extensively utilize Twitter, keeping a steady chatter about their films going.

Most of returning helmer Webb's updates consist of exceedingly teasery pictures or simply uncommon looks at the making of a big, big movie.  But today, he revealed that B.J. Novak will appear in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Judy Greer is a phenomenally talented actress, a beautiful woman with surgical comedic instincts. 

She'll be putting those instincts to use in her first major motion-capture role as Cornelia, the lead female chimpanzee in next year's Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

With her foul-mouthed attitude and jugular-slicing action chops, Hit-Girl was the breakout character in 2010's Kick-Ass. 

It makes perfect sense, then, that a new international trailer for this summer's Kick-Ass 2 centers squarely on Chloe Grace Moretz's return as Mindy MacReady, the pint-sized whirlwind of righteous violence.

Not only that, but a new character poster brings a newbie to the forefront, getting up close and personal with Jim Carrey as Colonel Stars & Stripes.

If you want to keep from seeing many of the treats contained within Iron Man 3, then you're going to want to avoid all promotional material between now and May 3rd.

Turn off the TV when a commercial pops up, look away from any posters or billboards, and definitely don't check out these close-up images showing off four of Tony Stark's new suits in his iron armada.

The aggro comedy on display in a new red band trailer for Pain & Gain – a trailer which is accompanied by four new stills and a behind the scenes picture – suggests that the impossible may have happened.
