At Comic-Con International in San Diego on Thursday the cast and crew of In Time appeared in Hall H to discuss their new film. On hand were the film's stars Justin Timberlake (Bad Teacher), and Amanda Seyfried (Dear John), as well as director Andrew Niccol (Gattaca).

At Comic-Con International on Friday the cast and crew of Total Recall appeared in Hall H to discuss the upcoming remake of the classic Arnold Schwarzenegger sci-fi film. On hand was the film's director Len Wisman (Underworld), as well as actors Colin Farrell (Miami Vice), Kate Beckinsale (Pearl Harbor), Jessica Biel (The A-Team), Bryan Cranston (Larry Crowne), and John Cho (Star Trek).

One of the most anticipated films appearing at Comic-Con International this year invaded San Diego on Saturday when Relativity Media presented Immortals to a packed crowd of fans in Hall H. On hand for the panel was the film's producers Mark Canton and Gianni Nunnari (300), as well as director Tarsem Singh, and actors Henry Cavill (Superman: Man of Steel), Luke Evans (Clash of the Titans), Kellan Lutz (Twilight), Stephen Dorff (Blade), Frieda Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire), and Oscar Nominee Mickey Rourke (Iron Man 2).

At Comic-Con International in San Diego on Friday Relativity Media presented their new film The Raven to fans at their Hall H panel. In attendance was director James McTeigue (V for Vendetta), and actors John Cusack (Grosse Pointe Blank), Alice Eve (She's Out of My League), and Luke Evans (Robin Hood).

Emmy nominated actor Idris Elba (Thor, Takers, The Losers) appeared at Comic-Con International in San Diego on Friday to discuss his upcoming movie Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, a sequel to the 2007 film  based on the popular Marvel Comics character, with an audience of excited fans in Hall H. 

IAR had a chance to speak with Idris Elba after his panel on Friday and talked with the actor about his role in Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, whether or not it is based on an actually character from the Marvel universe, and he even discussed the upcoming second season of his Emmy nominated BBC America television series, Luther. 

Legendary film director Francis Ford Coppola (The Godfather, Apocalypse Now) made his first appearance ever at Comic-Con International in San Diego on Saturday. Coppola presented his new film Twixt, which he not only directed but also wrote and produced, to an eager Hall H crowd. Appearing with the iconic director was the film's composer Dan Deacon, and the movie's star Val Kilmer (Batman Forever, The Doors).

Iconic filmmaker Steven Spielberg (Raiders of the Lost Ark, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial) made his first ever appearance at Comic-Con International in San Diego on Friday, along with equally impressive director Peter Jackson (The Lord of the Rings trilogy, the upcoming Hobbit films), to discuss their new performance capture 3D film The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn. The movie is based on the beloved comic books created by Belgian artist Georges “Herge” Remi, and is helmed by Spielberg with Jackson producing, based on a script by Steven Moffat (Doctor Who), Edgar Wright (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World), and Joe Cornish (Attack the Block).

The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn also features an excellent cast of actors such as Jamie Bell (Jumper), Andy Serkis (Rise of the Planet of the Apes), Simon Pegg (Paul), Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz), Toby Jones (Captain America: The First Avenger), Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride), and Daniel Craig (Cowboys & Aliens). The 3D spectacular is adapted from three of Remi’s famous stories including The Crab with the Golden Claw, The Secret of the Unicorn, and Red Rackham’s Treasure, while the screenplay depicts Tintin’s (Bell) first encounter with Captain Haddock (Serkis) and the discovery of a clue to the treasure of his ancestor Sir Francis Haddock.

Well, it's Monday, which means that this year's Comic-Con International is officially over and downtown San Diego will promptly go back to being another American city, not the capitol of all things nerdtastic.  In a trailer for the Morgan Spurlock-directed documentary Comic-Con Episode 4: A Fan's Hope, no less a luminary than Guillermo del Toro described the Con as a Russian nesting doll, defined by seemingly endless Comic-Cons contained within.  This year was no exception, providing fans of every stripe with a multitude of different experiences to suit their enthusiasms, whether they be in realms of comics, movies, television, videogames, action figures, cosplay, or anything else.
