The Medics took out Best New Talent at the 4th Annual Rolling Stone Awards in Sydney last Wednesday.
The four-piece, originally from Cairns, had a huge 2012 and are already proving themselves as one of Australia's foremost rock bands this year.
They create indie rock and have been heralded "a band to believe in" by Andrew McMillen on The Vine.

The Rolling Stone Awards, facilitated by Rolling Stone Magazine, celebrate the best the Australian music industry has to offer.
Other winners were Tame Impala fro Best Album, Chet Faker for Best Independent Release andMichael Gudinski received the Rolling Stone Award, which recognises an outstanding contribution to popular culture.
