Opening in theaters on June 7th is a new comedy from director Shawn Levy (Real Steel) entitled The Internship, which was written by Vince Vaughn (The Watch) and Jared Stern (Wreck-It Ralph), and based on a story by Vaughn. In addition to Vaughn, the film features his Wedding Crashers co-star Owen Wilson, as well as Rose Byrne (X-Men: First Class), Max Minghella (The Ides of March), Aasif Mandvi (Movie 43), Dylan O'Brien (TV's Teen Wolf), Jessica Szohr (Love, Wedding, Marriage), Josh Gad (21), John Goodman (The Artist), and Will Ferrell (Casa de mi Padre).

Former Telemundo TV series actress Genesis Rodriguez is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with in Hollywood!
After a recurring role on HBO’s Entourage, Rodriguez has appeared in a string of popular movies with some of Hollywood’s biggest stars including Man on a Ledge with Sam Worthington, Casa de Mi Padre with Will Ferrell, What to Expect When You’re Expecting with Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez, and The Last Stand with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Most recently she appeared opposite Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy in the box office hit comedy Identity Thief, which will be available on Blu-ray and DVD beginning June 4th.
In the film, Rodriguez stars as Marisol, an assassin working for a crime boss that is hired to take down Melissa McCarthy’s Diana who sold him some bad credit cards. Marisol teams-up with a hitman named Julian (T.I.) but their plan for revenge becomes complicated when Sandy (Jason Bateman), an ordinary accountant who’s identity has been stolen by Diana, attempts to kidnap her in order to clear his name and get his life back.
I recently had the pleasure of attending a Los Angeles Dodgers vs. St. Louis Cardinals game at Dodger Stadium where Genesis Rodriguez had the honor of throwing out the first pitch. I was on the field when she threw the ball to her father, Venezuelan singer/actor Jose Luis Rodriguez, and afterwards we were escorted to a private box suite where I had a chance to speak with Rodriguez about her work on Identity Thief, as well as throwing out the pitch. The beautiful young actress discussed her work on the movie, acting with T.I., improvising with Melissa McCarthy, what she’s learned from working with stars like McCarthy, Will Ferrell, and Arnold Schwarzenegger, director Seth Gordon, creating her character, and which she likes more – making comedies or action films, as well as the honor of throwing out the first pitch, practicing for the event, tossing the ball to her father, and whether or not she is a Dodger fan.

The co-writer/actress discussed her new film, going from the leader of a cult in Sound of My Voice to the member of a cult in The East, why she and director/co-writer Zal Batmanglij are so fascinated with cults, if they'd consider making a third undercover cult film, and working with Oscar-nominated actress Patricia Clarkson, while the popular actor talked about his admiration for Marling and Batmanglij's films, why he wanted to be a part of The East, fitting it into his busy True Blood hiatus schedule, and the complicated relationship between his and Marling's onscreen characters.
In 2010 Esquire magazine called filmmaker Alex Gibney “the most important documentarian of our time,” and I can’t find anything wrong with that statement.
Any documentary is only as good as the subject that is being documented and Gibney continually chooses fascinating subjects for his films. Some of his recent movies include Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room, Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson, Casino Jack and the United States of Money, Client 9: The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer, and Taxi to the Dark Side, which won an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. Now, the award winning filmmaker is back with another topical and important documentary entitled We Steal Secrets: The Story of WikiLeaks, which is currently playing in New York and Los Angeles theaters, and will open nationwide in June.
The film takes a look at WikiLeaks, the organization started by Julian Assange and others who were involved in the collection and distribution of secret information and media by whistleblowers. The movie follows the founding of WikiLeaks in 2006 and examines several key events including their 2009-2010 leaks about the Icelandic financial collapse, Swiss banking tax evasion, Kenyan government corruption, and toxic-waste dumping, as well as United States Army soldier Bradley Manning’s communications with Adrian Lamo, uploads to WikiLeaks of the Iraq and Afghanistan war documents, exposure to the FBI by Lamo, and the accusations of sexual assault made against Assange.
