This Adapter Turns Your iPhone Into a Lego Toy

Good news, guys. There’s a reason you kept those boxes of Legos stashed away in that closet all those years. Taiwanese design group KBme2 has created an ingenious protector cap for your iPhone 5’s Lightning port that doubles as a connector piece for your Legos.

The 2×1 and 4×1 adapter pieces fit snugly into your phone’s port, acting as a foundational Lego piece for basically anything you can think to build. Cases, stands, docks—these are all good, practical ideas. Then again, you could also make a car for your iPhone, turn it into a spaceship or attach your favorite Lego character to the phone’s base, which was actually the reason behind KBme2 creating the Brick Lightning Cap in the first place.

You can’t currently buy the Brick Lightning Cap, but the KBme2 team says it’s hard at work on an aluminum version that should be available soon. Stay tuned.
