P68 'Observer 2'

A long-endurance survey aircraft will be appearing in this year's static display.

The P68 "Observer 2" is used by APEM Aviation in the river habitat surveys – and is appropriately registered G-RIPA, derived from the Latin word 'riparian', which refers to the bank of a river.

Powered by two piston engines, it has a transparent nose section and high-wing configuration to offer better forward visibility for the pilots and observers during the course of survey work.
