OLDER NBA SALARIES INFO

April 17, 2010: Chicago Tribune reports: The league informed teams at the annual Board of Governors meeting Friday that the projected 2010-11 salary cap will be $56.1 million. That's $2-3 million higher than teams were told to project previously. That means when teams can begin negotiating with the greatest free-agent class in NBA history on July 1, the Bulls will be working with $20-22 million of salary-cap space.

April 5, 2010: The average NBA coach salary is estimated to be $3.4 million, down 10 percent in the last two years, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.
