Opening in theaters on September 6th is the new drama Touchy Feely from writer/director Lynn Shelton (Your Sister's Sister). The film stars Rosemarie DeWitt (Promised Land), Josh Pais (TV's Ray Donovan), Ellen Page (The East), Scoot McNairy (Argo), Allison Janney (The Way Way Back), and Ron Livingston (Office Space).
IAR's very own Heather Newgen recently had the pleasure of sitting down with filmmaker Lynn Shelton to talk about her work on Touchy Feely. The accomplished writer and director discussed her new movie, her impressive cast, why actress Catherine Keener deserves casting director credit, reuniting with Rosemarie DeWitt You're Sisters Sister, casting her real-life husband Ron Livingston, coming up with the concept for the film, and the movies theme of family.

SYNOPSIS:
A massage therapist (DeWitt) is unable to do her job when stricken with a mysterious and sudden aversion to bodily contact. Meanwhile, her uptight brother's (Pais) floundering dental practice receives new life when clients seek out his healing touch.
Touchy Feely opens in theaters on September 6th.
