Two of these three posters are devoted just to the God of Mischief. Loki already has a character poster for the sequel, which you can see by clicking right here.
In Thor: The Dark World, the God of Thunder leads Asgard in wartime, mopping up skirmishes that erupted across the Nine Realms while the Bifrost was inoperable. When the Dark Elves, an ancient race with a serious grudge against Asgard, re-emerge with a plan for cosmic domination, Thor must return to Midgard, where he picks up Earthling squeeze Jane Foster just in time to bring her to the realm eternal for some serious conflict.
Thor reluctantly seeks assistance from the one Asgardian who has had dealings with the Dark Elves. That would be fan-favorite Loki. Last month, director Alan Taylor revealed that additional photography spiced up the sequel with even more mischievous content. This week, Hiddleston himself commented on the reshoots, explaining, "We weren't redoing things we'd done before. We were adding new stuff. So that was fun for me. And some of the things were scenes I'd actually pitched for a long time ago."
So Yahoo! Movies has shared a domestic poster featuring Loki. Following that, we've got two international character posters courtesy of SuperHeroHype.
A week ago, Marvel Studios revealed a character poster showing off Christopher Eccleston as Malekith the Accursed, leader of the Dark Elves. Though Loki will be contributing to the villainy this time around, Malekith is the heavy facing off against the God of Thunder.
Thor: The Dark World is the first Marvel movie to arrive outside of the summer months, continuing Phase Two in theaters on November 8th.
