Adam Morrison Scouting Report:

InsideHoops.com: A wanna-be Larry Bird, and that's not a bad thing. Morrison's a scorer and shooter, with limited strength and not a lot of athletic ability (but athletic enough to score and win). Intense deterimination and drive. Plays real basketball, getting free, cutting, spacing the floor correctly and being involved. Can hit a wide variety of shots, not just jumpers. Creates for himself, or creates for a teammate and then moves to the proper place. An old-school throwback type of gutty player. His NBA position is small forward, or shooting guard.

Adam Morrison Bio/Career Highlights:

Shared NABC and USBWA National Player of the Year honors with Duke’s J.J. Redick and was named Chevrolet Player of the Year as selected by CBS Sports as a junior.

Also finished second to Redick in the voting for the Wooden Award and was a Top Four finalist for the Naismith Award.

Earned unanimous First Team All-American honors.

Named West Coast Conference Player of the Year as a junior and earned First Team All-Conference honors his sophomore and junior seasons.

Finished collegiate career as the third all-time leading scorer in Gonzaga history with 1,843 points and also ranks third in field goals made (659), fourth in free throws made (398), and ninth in three-point field goals made (127).

Was a member of the 2004 USA World Championship for Young Men Qualifying Team that earned a gold medal in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. As a junior in 2005-06, Adam Morrison led NCAA Division I in scoring (28.1 ppg) while setting a school single-season record for total points with 926.
