As well as pre-order deals you can now get for Gran Turimso 6 on PSN, Sony has announced a new in-game credit system to buy cars, presumably rather than grinding to unlock them. You can see a million credits being spent up there.
Remember when everyone was all like, “check out the GTA 5 UFO mystery what does it all mean?” The original theory was it would some how reveal a flyable flying saucer. Now fans have been pulling apart the game code and have found what looks like an alien HUD.
Konami has posted a big plot synopsis on MGS 5 Ground Zeroes. The entire game seems to revolve around Snake rescuing both Paz and Chico from a US controlled Cuban prison. As well as this main mission the new info details sub-missions, “known as Side-Ops”, challenges and online leader boards.
Konami’s just released a new data pack for PES 2014 which adds over 800 player likenesses to the game, including Real Madrid’s Isco, Juan Roman Riquelme’s ferocious eyebrows, and Jack Wilshere’s eminently slappable countenance. In addition to that, the MyPES app has just launched for iOS and Android devices, which gives you heaps of stats to pore over and makes community management possible while on the go.
Here are some new screens and a trailer for Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes and it’s MGS1 Deja-Vu Mission, exclusive to PS4 and PS3. It’s apparently a bespoke level especially made by Kojima for PlayStation.
After this morning’s amazing Uncharted 4 PS4 news, Naughty Dog has also announced The Last Of Us: Left Behind DLC. The story-based expansion stars Ellie as the playable lead, focusing on her relationship with Riley, the star of The Last Of Us’ American Dreams comic prequel.
Rockstar’s keeping busy following the world-conquering sales of GTA 5 and the steady stabilisation of GTA Online – first, it’s releasing the free Beach Bum DLC pack, with new weapons, missions, clothing – all sorts, actually – and some new story mode content to follow shortly thereafter.
News of Minecraft’s PlayStation debut has been pretty thin on the ground until today, when Scottish dev 4J Studios took to Twitter and announced that the PS3 version is nearing its testing phase. It also stated there’s no ETA yet for the PS4 version, which had previously been rumoured to be a launch title.
Socialites, friend hoarders and those with preposterously extended family will be delighted by the news that the PSN now supports friends lists with numbers of up to 2000. You won’t be able to go beyond the 100-person limit on the PS3′s XMB, but you can already use your PS Vita to curate a who’s who of people you play games with now and then.
