Opening in theaters on June 22nd is a new 3D computer-animated fantasy adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures called Brave. The movie was directed by Mark Andrews (John Carter) and Brenda Chapman (The Prince of Egypt), and features the voice-acting of Kelly Macdonald (No Country for Old Men), Julie Walters (Gnomeo and Juliet), Billy Connolly (The X-Files: I Want to Believe), Emma Thompson (Men in Black 3), Kevin McKidd (Bunraku), Craig Ferguson (How to Train Your Dragon), Robbie Coltrane (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2), and John Ratzenberger (Cars 2).

Available on Blu-ray and DVD beginning June 19th is the comedy Jeff, Who Lives at Home from directing brothers Jay and Mark Duplass (Cyrus). The film stars Jason Segel (The Muppets) and Ed Helms (The Lorax) as Jeff and Pat, respectively, two brothers with nothing in common that find themselves drawn together in a series of random meetings and emotional revelations that will change their lives forever. In addition to Segel and Helms the movie features Judy Greer (The Descendants), Rae Dawn Chong (Commando), and Oscar-winner Susan Sarandon (That’s My Boy).

Last month, I had a chance to attend a party in Santa Monica celebrating the Blu-ray and DVD release of Jeff, Who Lives at Home. In attendance were directors Jay and Mark Duplass, as well as actress Judy Greer. I had an opportunity to speak with the extremely busy Mark Duplass, who also moonlights as an actor (Darling Companion, Your Sister’s Sister), and the lovely Ms. Greer about Jeff, Who Lives at Home, and the forthcoming Blu-ray and DVD.

IAR's managing editor Jami Philbrick recently had a chance to sit down exclusively with feature film editor Alan Edward Bell (Water For Elephants, (500) Days of Summer) to discuss his work on The Amazing Spider-Man. Bell talked about the new movie, preparing to edit a Spider-Man film, why Marc Webb was the perfect person to direct the project, how they made the web-slinger come alive on-screen, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone's performances, telling the "Untold Story" of Spider-Man, Peter Parker's parents, sticking to the mythology, Easter eggs, and how the film's ending will prepare fans for the inevitable sequel.

While we will be running our exclusive video interview with Kurtzman about his work on People Like Us closer to the film's June 29th release, we wanted to show you now what the producer/co-writer had to say about the upcoming Untitled Star Trek Sequel

Kurtzman discussed wrapping principle photography on the sequel, that Abrams "Killed it," asking the studio to not rush them and let them take their time to get it right, fan's expectations, creating a worthy villain for the film, and that a sequel is all about the bad guy.
