A brand new red band trailer for Sabotage features many hallmarks of hyper-masculine cinema, from bad language to blood-splatters, exposed boobs, mutilated corpses, and seemingly endless sprays of gunfire.

It speaks volumes that not only does Arnold Schwarzengger lead Sabotage, but he does so with a neck tattoo.

As some genuinely promising technical information regarding the sequel emerges, star Chris Pratt is talking about his character and the nature of Jurassic World, saying that the latest dinosaur adventure answers a crucial question.

A solid comedy duo is a precious commodity.

So it's with no small amount of enthusiasm that we meet the news of Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson returning for Pitch Perfect 2, the sequel set for May 15, 2015.

Now that a week has passed since Warner Bros. announced that Jesse Eisenberg is playing Lex Luthor in the 2016 Man of Steel sequel, hopefully everybody has calmed down a little.

Hopefully, in a world with no shortage of things getting truly upset about, the choice of an excellent, unexpected actor to play a familiar role is no longer causing aneurysms across fandom.

If some folks still have their pitchforks at the ready, though, hopefully the first rumored nuggets of information on the Luthor we'll meet in Batman vs. Superman give them pause.

Avengers: Age of Ultron just keeps getting more and more crowded with familiar comic book characters.

The latest addition to the super-sequel's mega-line up is none other than The Vision, an android with a red face and a whole mess of powers.  Though this new character is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the actor playing him has been along for the ride since Iron Man.

Marvel Studios has two as-yet undisclosed movies scheduled for the summer of 2016.  The second arrives in the dog days, on July 8th.

The first kicks off the blockbuster season on May 6, 2016, the very same day that Batman and Superman are set to rumble in the untitled Man of Steel sequel.  And now we may know which comic book heroes will soar onscreen in this May 2016 mystery movie.

At this point, American audiences have a wary relationship with 3D, but in international markets where our exported movies can be relied upon to provide spectacle, audiences still like to see Hollywood movies in three dimensions.

Nothing illustrates this tendency better than Paramount's new plan to convert Darren Aronofsky's Biblical epic Noah to 3D for markets all around the globe, but skipping the trouble for the domestic release.

Gary Oldman is an insanely talented actor who regularly appears in genre fare, including huge franchises.

So it's actually shocking that it has taken this long for end up in the pile of actors who could maybe – just maybe – show up in Star Wars: Episode VII when it finally hits theaters on December 18, 2015.

Are you not entertained?

Is this not why you are here?  To see the first clip from Pompeii, pits Kit Harington and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje against a horde of anonymous soon-to-be-corpses in a gladiatorial ring.

Between Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, and Michael Pena, Ant-Man was starting to look like a boys club.

No longer, however, does Marvel Studios' first entry in Phase Three have a "NO GIRLS ALLOWED" sign dangling from its doorknob; Evangeline Lilly is in talks to play the female lead, and word is she won't be playing the Marvel character we'd assumed would debut in Ant-Man.
