PGA Championship

04.08.14 - 10.08.14
Oak Hill Country Club, Rochester, New York

The PGA Championship in the USA features one of the strongest fields in golf and is considered one of the most important sporting events in the world.

Since 1916 the world's best golfers have been competing for the Wanamaker Trophy, and previous title-holders include Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Vijay Singh, Jack Nicklaus, Sam Snead, Ben Hogan and Walter Hagen.

In 2013 the PGA Championship moves, for the third time, to Oak Hill Country Club, Rochester, New York. The Club has a history dating to 1901, when it started out as a 9-hole golf course with a converted farmhouse serving as the clubhouse. Today it boasts two 18-hole courses, the East Course and the West Course. The East Course hosts major tournaments.

Rory McIlroy won the 94th PGA championship in 2012.
