Charitable Gift Fund
Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton set up a charitable gift fund for those who very generously wished to donate to charity to help the couple celebrate their wedding.
A total of £1,058,367 was donated to the Royal Wedding Charitable Gift Fund, which will benefit 26 charities, personally chosen by Prince William and Miss Middleton.
The donations were held in a dedicated account by the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry and grants will be distributed in partnership with the benefitting charities to ensure maximum impact.
