Cambridge Beer Festival

19.05.14 - 24.05.14
Jesus Green, Cambridge

Britain's oldest beer festival, and the largest outside London, the Cambridge Beer Festival attracts more than 32,000 people over six days in May. 2013 sees the 40th anniversary of the Festival.

It gives festival-goers the chance to sample more than 170 real ales and 60 foreign beers, ciders, English wines and mead. There's also a variety of food stalls, while some breweries run their own bars.

A very popular cheese counter offers over 70 English cheeses made by small independent producers.

Several shops offer beer-related souvenirs - T-shirts, tankards, postcards and badges, while children's entertainment, such as face painting and a bouncy castle, is provided on the Saturday.
