This four-day event, held in Somerset in late May/early June, offers agricultural shows and events, rural craft shows, motorcycle displays and extreme sports.

Popular attractions include show jumping, heavy horses, steam engines, craft stalls, the floral marquee and tcanoeng. There is an ever-popular dog show with over 1,000 competitors.

Visitors can also canoe on the lake, ride a mini railway and follow a Family Trail.

In addition there is an array of the very best local cider and cheeses, a wide range of Food & Drink on offer, and a parade of the county's finest livestock.

There are over 600 trade stands, the National Cheese Awards and the UK's biggest cider competition.

The Royal Bath and West showground is approximately 25 miles from Bristol and 20 miles from Bath, and is situated on the A371 Castle Cary-Shepton Mallet road.
