If the couple decides to have the whole thing made by a friend, they should think it through carefully. They should talk to the person who will make the cake about their ideas, the style of the wedding and quantities.
Remember, anything that looks too homemade at the reception may stand out in marked contrast to beautiful decorations and professionally laid tables.
