Lily Allen has debuted a song L8 CMMR on hit TV show Girls.

The unreleased track premiered on the third season of Lena Dunham's award-winning show about the reality of life for 20-somethings in New York and also appears on the show's soundtrack, Girls Volume 2: All Adventurous Women Do.

Lily told Rolling Stone magazine: "I think the show is brilliant, so it was more or less a no brainer for me.

"Greg Kurstin, who produced and co-wrote this track with me, played a few of the new tracks for a friend of his who works on the show. Apparently [music supervisor Manish Raval] loved the songs, and later came back to Greg asking if he could include one of the tracks in an episode."

L8 CMMR is a song about a woman who feels territorial about her man.

Lily sings: "Look at my ring... You can't have him."

But just like Lena's lead character Hannah, as well as showing devotion and obsession, the song also addresses pure sexual desire, with lines such as, "Under the covers, my mind is a bad motherf***er."
