We asked our Twitter followers to reveal their favourite beaches - the results are some of the most beautiful stretches of sand on Earth.
Koh Lipe is a tiny Thai island set in the Andaman Sea near the Malaysian border. @lauraball123 says: "Sunrise on the beach at Koh Lipe is beautiful! Once you're on the island, it's very easy to get to... Getting to the island [itself] takes a few hours but is worth it! Pretty quiet and secluded... "

I remeber going to a cottage in Anglesey when I was a little boy with the school on holiday no electric or gas no showers no lights just paraffin ones hard beds
washing in the brook felt like torture at the time but now I have fond memories looking back and I always loved the beach there I can't remember the name of it but Anglesey has some wonderful beaches here is 1 for example.

Many years ago I used to go to Farelight Glen near Hastings. It was a wonderful place to explore. Very wild and untouched. To access it was a two mile walk across the fields. We used to camp there for the weekends. Some of the best days ever were spent there. Things have changed these days. The cliffs have eroded and fallen and now I understand it is a naturists reserve. Nothing stays the same.
