In pictures: inside an ice cave in Olkhon Island, Siberia
These breathtaking photos showcase the majestic beauty of the ice caves on Olkhon Island in Lake Baikal, Siberia.
The sub-zero scene was captured by award-winning Russian photographer Andrey Nekrasov while out diving under the ice with friends who live on the lake's shore.
The caves are formed every year between November and December when storms cause waves to break higher up the shore.
The water gradually freezes, creating unique shapes and structures.
"I was impressed by the beauty of these caves, I was diving under the ice near the shore and saw this beauty," Andrey said.
"I am amazed at the power and beauty of nature."
