It's not just for winter. Explore Iceland in the summer months for hiking, volcanic beaches and waterfalls
In pictures: intimate images from the new Necker Island book, A Virgin Island
Necker Island, Richard Branson’s paradise to which he invites the rich and famous, has been immortalised in a book by Russell James.
The Caribbean idyll in the British Virgin Islands is all white sands and impossibly clear waters, and over the years it has been a wedding destination and party spot for the international glitterati. Princess Diana, Kate Moss, Harry Styles and Orlando Bloom, among many others, have all stayed here. It underwent refurbishment last year after the house was destroyed by a fire caused by a tropical storm in 2011.
From Richard enjoying his personal sanctuary, the incredible flora and fauna of the island, to supermodels frolicking on the beach, this new, oversized book presents us with a highly personal look at a little piece of heaven.
