In a recent Bloomberg interview, Alan Meckler, the CEO of Mediabistro (the owner of 3D Prints of the World), spoke of the firm's growing series of Inside 3D Printing conferences and its 3D Printing and Technology Fund. Meckler placed an emphasis on industrial, rather than individual, usage accounting for the most significant impact that 3D printing will have on society in the future, stating "That's the part that the financial news and the popular news just doesn't understand."
