Strategy game specialist Nival has released Prime World: Defenders on two additional platforms: Facebook and Android. The game is already available on iOS, Mac, Windows and NVIDIA Shield, and offers cross-platform functionality for users to take their progress across platforms or devices.

Prime World: Defenders combines gameplay from the tower defense and collectible card genres, as players become treasure hunters in a story-driven campaign. The story revolves around stopping a mutant horde, with each level seeing players defending an altar on the path by building towers, casting spells and more to defeat enemies.

Environmental simulation game GreenYrLife looks to inspire Facebook gamers to help the world by making the act of “going green” a more accessible concept than players might initially believe. The game combines quizzes, informational videos, an experience points system, mini-games, virtual home decoration and more, into an experience that focuses on protecting Mother Nature.

In GreenYrLife, players receive a badge and title, and can upgrade that title by earning points. These points are earned by completing tasks within the game, like answering quiz questions or watching Green Tips videos.

After briefly teasing the game earlier this year, King has officially launched Bubble Witch Saga 2 on Facebook and mobile devices. The game takes players to a colorful world of friendly witches and animals, and challenges them to complete bubble-shooting levels with limited numbers of moves.

Hooqt’s platform for casual online gaming is described as being built “by gamers, for gamers.” The platform’s first game, The Little Vikings, is an ambitious release, with Hooqt claiming it’s one of the largest social games ever created. In it, gamers take on the role of a Viking, exploring their own island to make a settlement while completing quests.

Upon arrival, the island is covered in fog, and is revealed as players manually explore the land around them. To start, users complete quests by constructing cottages, chopping down trees and other basic tasks, but the game eventually expands to include combat against enemies like killer rabbits that appear on the island.

Marvel has announced the launch of its newest Facebook game, Marvel: Avengers Alliance Tactics. This new title in the Marvel: Avengers Alliance series is a tactical combat game, which sees players engaging with Marvel heroes in 3D environments to defeat villains from the Marvel universe.

The game places players in the role of S.H.I.E.L.D. commander, in charge of a team of super heroes and a base of operations. Players will interact with characters including Iron Man, Thor and Captain America, while villains like Loki become available as the game’s story unfolds.

This partnership with with the Sacramento, California-based resort will see Win developing customized slot machines for the Slots Craze game, and players earning prizes redeemable at the real world resort.
