Cyclist, 20, struck and killed by vehicle in Cicero

CICERO, Ind. - A bicyclist was struck and killed Monday night in Cicero.Police were called to the area of Main and Neal streets shortly after 9:30 p.m. on the report of a bicyclist found on the side of the road. The cyclist, 20-year-old Nicholas Camp, was taken to Riverview Hospital, then was transported to IU Health Methodist Hospital by helicopter, where he later died of his injuries.Investigators believe Camp was riding south on Main Street when the left handlebar of his bicycle was struck by a passing vehicle, causing him to lose control and crash.
