Synopsis
Takuma Hirose, an emotionally wounded boy becomes blind after his mother died in his childhood. For medical treatment, he moves to his mother’s home village where
he enters a new school. On the first day, various girls enter his life: “Hayami Kohinata” who stubbornly avoids any contact with other people, “Hinata Kagura,” who is class president and likes taking care of others, but can sometimes be careless, and “Otoha”, a cheerful girl who calls herself “Spirit of Time’s Sound.” The small village has a sad secret. When Takuma discovers what it is, he must say good-bye to his boyhood and ascend the steps to adulthood. The journey is a challenge like none before and filled with battles he cannot avoid... This is a story about loving someone for the first time and fighting for what is important. It is about growing up and the challenges we face, and it will bring back memories we all share of childhood and the transition into the world of adulthood.

Nobunaga the Fool began as a flashy, goofy reimagining of world history that ripped historical figures out of their contexts and played with them. Unfortunately in its second half it begins to take itself far too seriously, and all of the flashy battles and sparkly effects that Satelight throws in cannot make this ending a success.
One girl defends another against all comers in a class full of prospective female assassins? It is a concept full of lots of action and yuri romantic potential, but it never fully capitalizes on that potential despite telling a complete story.
Seraph of the End deals in vampires, mysterious prophecies, and wounded heroes, all things we've seen many times before. Despite that it really does work as an interesting story, one that it's easy to get into.
