The Highlanders kick off and we are underway.

2.00: The Highlanders are doing most of the playing in the opening stages of the match.

3.00: The Highlanders go through the phases on attack in the Reds half gradually making ground. They lose the ball and Will Genia clears the ball upfield.

5.00: The Reds enjoy some ball in Highlanders territory but they get stopped.

6.00: Penalty to the Reds. They kick for touch.

7.00: The Highlanders come away with the ball after the line out and start to attack from their 22.

9.00: The Reds are starting to find holes. Will Genia gets into space and has a run but he is then stopped by the secondary line of defence.

10.37: There is a break in play as Ma’afu Fia is injured. He comes off.

11.00: The Reds win a scrum and Mike Harris darts for the line. He is stopped short but the Reds recycle.

15.00: The Highlanders look to attack in centrefield. They make some ground but the Reds get back and stop the attack.

22.00: The Reds try to run the ball at the Highlanders but their passing lets them down.

24.00: The Reds win a line out, Genia uses the box kick. The Highlanders attack but lose the ball. The Reds chip ahead. The Highlanders attack and the Reds win the ball back but lose it forward.

27.00: The Reds win a scrum and use the maul. They drive forward in the Highlanders 22 and get to the 5m line. The maul breaks up and splinters and the Highlanders turn the ball over (Richard Buckman) and kick it out.

28.00: The Reds have the ball in the Highlanders 22. Genia chips up and Rod Davies chases, Lima Sopoaga loses the ball and Davies pounces on it and scores. TRY!

46.00: The Reds hit straight back. The Reds have a scrum in the Highlanders 22. They smash the Highlanders scrum as they drive over the line and Jack Schatz is awarded the bonus point TRY!
