Despite the carefree nature of Salt-N-Pepa’s catchy lyrics, it isn’t always that easy to chat about copulation (the least sexy of all sexual synonyms). Here’s where the Intimacy Lab comes in. Tonight and tomorrow (6.30-10.30pm), as part of Hack the Barbican, they’re putting on a series of workshops to loosen all those stiff British upper lips. They promise a ‘safe and beautiful space for people to explore and discover their desires’ with themes including Pillow Talk, Scales of Intimacy and Crafting Your Sexual Expression. Think empowering self-discovery and fun times, not a kinky smutfest. Be brave, be bold, be honest and you never know, you might just learn something.
