About the Author

Sara Stoner

http://www.thebyandby.com/blog/

After graduating in 2007 from the University of North Texas, the sweet yet sarcastic Houston native spent five years designing, art directing, and writing copy in Dallas. However, seduced by the music scene and hill country, Sara recently packed her bags and cat and moved to Austin. She’s currently working as an in-house senior designer for a global brand, and spends all her free-time falling more in love with her new city. A long-time fascination with bold patterns, playful color palettes, and anything retro or kitsch, she is partial to good design that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Daily, Sara finds happiness in life’s simple pleasures, like laughing with friends and family, relaxing on porches, and listening to live music. She also enjoys treasure hunting at thrift stores, painting and doodling, reading fiction and traveling to exotic locals {like Iowa}.
