Skaters glide around a purpose-built ice rink, and. York's biggest Christmas tree makes the event all the more atmospheric, and the rink is garlanded with pretty fairy lights.
The heated rink-side Ice Bar and Café is good for spectating, and offers a range of warming refreshments. It has a fully licensed bar, so it's a good spot for a Christmas drink or celebration.
Ice Marshals will do their best to keep you on your feet and perfect your skating style, and there are Skate Schools operating to help you build confidence on the ice.
