I'm a Celebrity: Edwina & Kendra's trial - How did Team Kenwina do?

By
Kendra Wilkinson and Edwina Currie took on the latest trial on tonight's (November 28) I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.

It was to be Edwina's first challenge, and the former MP told fellow camp-mates: "I've been expecting to do a Bushtucker Trial right from the beginning so now I'm actually doing one is a sense of relief.

"To be doing it with Kendra means we have to co-operate so we both have strengths and we both have weaknesses so we'll have to see how we work as a team."

She continued: "We are going to do it as a team and I'm there and Kendra's going to have to show everybody that she can do it better than a middle-aged lady of ample proportions who has never been sporty in her life.

"We have to do our best for the whole, for everybody even though we might not benefit from it. I have a feeling that's what I was trying to teach Kendra the other day."

Kendra added that the pair were going to put their recent row behind them, saying: "We're moving forward and we're going to work together. I feel stronger. I'll try not to get on your nerves."

Edwina quipped: "One thing's for sure. We're not going to stop in the middle to start talking politics."

The pair - now known as Team Kenwina - made their way to the Pipe of Peril trial, where they were greeted by Ant and Dec. Kendra suggested that perhaps they'd been picked by the public because they're "strong women" and like "ying and yang".

Edwina pointed out that it could be because of their differences, and that she was 40 years Kendra's senior.

As the challenge began, Kendra had to sit on a dunking seat and answer five rounds of questions, one round for each section of a long pipe laid out in front of her.

For every correct question answered, the pair were given a bonus twenty seconds, during which Edwina would have to try and release the stars in that section of pipe.

And for every wrong answer, Kendra would be dunked into a foul-smelling jungle liquid.

Edwina crouched inside the pipe and felt her way through the different sections filled with various jungle critters including spiders, cockroaches, meal worms, crickets, lizards, eels, mud crabs and snakes.

The questions were based on the relevant critters for that section of pipe.

A confident Kendra revealed that she has a lizard at home and used to own a snake, but still got some of the questions wrong thus received several disgusting dunks.

Edwina eventually managed to retrieve six stars for camp, and was delighted with Team Kenwina's efforts.

Upon returning to camp, Edwina declared: "I have lost my virginity darling. I feel great. All the adrenalin is running. I'm pleased."

On certain trial difficulties, she added: "There was a snake bit and all the questions were about snakes and it wasn't until afterwards that Kendra announced that she didn't actually know the difference between centimetres and metres and which was the larger one."

"Hey, you can get to be 29 and a big reality TV star without knowing your measurements at all," she laughed.

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here continues tomorrow night (November 29) at 9pm on ITV.
