Sarah Millican interview: 'I like talking about personal stuff'

Sarah Millican has said that it's "odd" to be given the accolade of helping women in comedy.
In an interview with Digital Spy, Millican also explained that she enjoyed discussing personal topics on stage as they are what make her laugh.
The 39-year-old, who has just released her DVD Home Bird Live, added that realising her work/life balance was askew was the motivation behind her new tour.
"I wanted to buy a house, and I wanted to get a cat, and I wanted to learn how to do the garden and I wanted to learn how to cook," she explains. "So I made a list of all these things, and this is what the show is about."
