Paddington creator calls the film 'a delight from start to finish'

Paddington Bear creator Michael Bond is happy with the recent movie adaptation.
Bond previously said that he was worried about the BBFC's decision to award the film a PG rating due to mild bad language and innuendo, admitting that he'd be upset if it contained swearing and sexual references.
However, in an interview with The Guardian, Bond described the film as "a delight from start to finish".
Bond also said that after all the years of writing Paddington, the bear feels very real to him.
"Paddington is eternally optimistic and always comes back for more, no matter how many times his hopes are dashed," he explained.
"He stands up for things, he's not afraid of going straight to the top and giving them a hard stare."
Out now, the film, which stars Hugh Bonneville, Nicole Kidman, Sally Hawkins, Jim Broadbent, Julie Walters and Ben Whishaw as the voice of the bear, has been well-received by critics.
