Unbelievable Black Friday pictures from an Asda as chaos prevails
By Naomi Gordon
There were ugly scenes of utter carnage during the Black Friday sales at an Asda Superstore in London's Wembley this morning (November 28).
One over-zealous female shopper was not going to let her faux fur headband or an equally desperate small child get in the way of that discounted 40" Full LED TV.
Said customer grabbed onto the product for dear life, and was even dragged across the supermarket floor by the young rival shopper with her whole body weight on top of it.
A store worker had attempted to intervene between the pair, but eventually released it was a completely lost cause.
Black Friday: All the retailers to watch for a top tech deal in the UK
We're not entirely sure who ended up with the coveted widescreen TV, as it looked as though a mass mob soon descended.
Police have been called out to Tesco stores in Edmonton, Willesden and Surrey Quays, as well as an Asda in Edgware, according to ITV News
Startling eyewitness footage taken at Tesco stores in Slough, Manchester, Blackpool and other branches has also revealed manic crowds dashing for televisions and other products on sale.
