Android 5.0 Lollipop's rollout to HTC One Google Play Edition devices has run into further delays.
The operating system was slated to arrive on stock Android HTC One and HTC One M8 handsets on December 1, but the web giant is still yet to approve its distribution.
HTC's vice president of product management Mo Versi took to Twitter to confirm that Google has been unable to verify the update due to its current workload, but did not reveal when the rollout has been rescheduled to.
This is the second time Android 5.0 has been delayed on HTC One devices, with the software originally scheduled to arrive in early November.
Google's latest operating system was revealed alongside the Nexus 6 smartphone and the Nexus 9 tablet in October.
New features of Android 5.0 Lollipop include a more fluid user interface with enhanced 3D effects, greater control over notifications, support for 64-bit hardware and increased battery life.
